Chicken Feed Types according to their Age
Starter Feed: This feed is started from day 1 to 15. the starter feed is small in size and soft. It contains higher protein levels, so the proteins help the little chicks to grow faster.
Growth Feed: This feed from day 15 to 28 is called growth feed. It’s medium size crumbs. At this stage, 30% growth feed and 70% starter feed is given to chicks.
Finisher Feed: This feed is given from day 28 to 35. It’s in the shape of a pellet. At the finishing stage, 30% growth and 70% finisher feed are given to chickens.
